Pandemic Parenting Is Shakin’ Things Up!

For the last seven months, you have relied on Pandemic Parenting for expert research and wisdom by watching our free Pandemic Parenting Exchange webinars, subscribing to our emails, reading our blogs, and following us on social media -- thank you!

You’ve shared your constructive feedback, offered terrific suggestions, and asked for more resources and support. You’ve shared Pandemic Parenting with your friends and family because our community of parents and caregivers continues to grow every week -- thank you!

While we’re all looking forward to the end of the pandemic, you’ve also shared that you want Pandemic Parenting to continue as we navigate COVID-19 and beyond.

We hear you, and we’re thrilled to keep doing what we’re doing, but in a bigger and better way!

What better time to adjust our plans than during the one-year anniversary of living and learning through a global pandemic? To make these changes possible, we’d first like to welcome our new Executive Director, Jennifer Valentine! Read more about Jennifer and help us give her a warm welcome.

Second, thank you to everyone who completed our recent survey. We value your feedback, and we’re going to try some new things this month and beyond. We’re taking a break from offering our bi-weekly live webinar format and instead delivering a jam-packed month of resources and support organized by theme or need.

In honor of one year since much of the world locked down, this month’s content will focus on you, the parents and caregivers, covering four themes: grief, guilt, grace, and growth. You’ll receive weekly email digests or blogs when you eat lunch, watch a short Snack Break video during your morning coffee, and feel supported by reading a great quote from time to time when you check your social media feed.

We’ll soon modify our website to shine a spotlight on our science-based resources and continue to improve your website user experience—stay tuned! In the meantime, you can still access all recorded webinars and other resources on the website or on our YouTube channel.

Finally, we want to meet you! If you are associated with an organization, company, or community group that is interested in having us present any of our Pandemic Parenting research and insight customized to your group or for a learning or training opportunity, please reach out to Pandemic Parenting, and we’ll be sure to follow up.

We are grateful to you, our Pandemic Parenting community, for all of your support and helpful feedback during the last seven months. It has been an incredible journey to be navigating this time together, undoubtedly one of the greatest silver linings of the pandemic. Thank you!
